Dr. Thomas Lehman is not just an OU Health orthopedic surgeon and professor at the OU College of Medicine, but a true Sooner through and through. His journey began with a bachelor’s in physical therapy — then working at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center as a physical therapist while attending medical school. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at OU before a year-long fellowship in hand surgery at the University of New Mexico.
For over 20 years, Dr. Lehman has been dedicated to treating patients with routine, complex, and trauma-related hand injuries. He’s passionate about training the next generation of Sooner doctors.
